Sigur Rós - "Heima"


In 2006, having toured the world over in support of their "Takk..." album, Sigur Rós returned home to play a series of free, unannounced concerts in Iceland. Their new DVD "Heima" is a unique record of that tour, filmed in over 13 different locations across the island, taking in the biggest and smallest shows of the band's career.Directed by the Oscar nominated Dean DeBlois, "Heima" was premiered in London in October at the BBC Electric Proms alongside an exclusive live acoustic performance from the band.The release also contains a bonus disc featuring over two hours of full length performances, including music from all four of the band's albums, featuring alternate edits to those that appear in the film, plus a brand new song recorded live in the band's own studio.
